Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction on the Organizational Commitment of Civil Servants of the Puskesmas Inpatient Jstik. This research uses associative / relationship research. The population in this study were 38 civil servants of the Puskesmas inpatient at J Tongkat, with a sampling technique using the census method. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The analysis tool used is simple linear regression, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and F test. The results of simple linear regression analysis show a simple linear regression equation Y = 0.203 + 0.954 X. The value of a = 0.203 means that if the value of job satisfaction (X) = 0, then the value of organizational commitment is 0.203. The regression coefficient value b = 0.954 means that each increase in the value of job satisfaction by one unit will affect the value of organizational commitment by 0.954 units. The correlation coefficient of 0.927 shows that there is a very strong relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. While the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.860 which indicates that 86% of the organizational commitment of the Jungkat Puskesmas Civil Servant is influenced by job satisfaction while the remaining 14% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The Fcount value obtained is 220.507 while the Ftable value based on Table F is 4.11. So the value of Fcount is greater than Ftable so that it can be concluded that H ¬0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that a simple linear regression model can be used to predict organizational commitment which is influenced by job satisfaction of Civil Servants in Jungkat Inpatient Puskesmas, Jongkat District, Mempawah Regency.
