Abstract

Latar Belakang: Di Indonesia saat ini salah satu bentuk kenakalan remaja yang sedang banyak terjadi yaitu penyalahgunaan NAPZA. Masalah penyalahgunaan Napza disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh NAPZA. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mecegah perilaku tersebut melalui penyuluhan kesehatan. Booklet merupakan salah satu media yang dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pendidikan kesehatan khususnya pencegahan penyalahgunaan NAPZA sehingga penyalahgunaan NAPZA dikalangan remaja dapat dikurangi. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi kesehatan media Booklet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tentang Napza pada siswa/siswi SMP Mandiri Pontianak. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pra Eksperimen (Pre Eksperimen Design ) dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Mandiri dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling 38 orang. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian penyuluhan dengan media booklet dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang Napza pada siswa siswi SMP Mandiri Pontianak dengan nilai P Value (0,000 ). Saran: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan kepada pihak baik sekolah, orang tua dan lintas sektor lainnya untuk melakukan kegiatan positif penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok maupun upaya preventif lain dengan menggunakan media cetak maupun elektronik sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa siswi terhadap penyalahgunaan Napza. // Background: Adolescence is a transitional period which is easily influenced by the surrounding environment and prone to negative influences, such as smoking, criminal, brawl, free sex, Narcotics, Psychotropic, and other addictive substances (drugs ). Based on 2017 data from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC ) in Indonesia there are 17 million cases of drug abuse with a prevalence rate of 1.77%. The largest proportion of drug abuse by group is in the working group (59% ) followed by the student group (24% ). The prevalence of drug abuse in 2017 in West Kalimantan Province is 1.57%. In the city of Pontianak, the cases of drug abuse involved 163 people, and in the eastern Pontianak district the case of drug users involved as many as 47 people. One of the efforts in controlling drugs use is through the IEC program. This program aims to increase adolescent knowledge through the media, namely booklets Purposes: This study aims to determine the effect of health promotion with booklets on increasing the knowledge of junior high school students related to NAPZA in SMP Mandiri Pontianak. Methods: This research is a pre-experimental research (pre-experimental design ) using one group pretest posttest design. The sample population in this study were all students of SMP Mandiri with a sampling technique and the number of total sampling is 38 people. The testing method uses the Wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed that the provision of health education using booklet media could increase the knowledge of students of SMP Mandiri Pontianak related to NAPZA with a P Value (0,000). Suggestion: Based on research results, it is recommended to the school, parents and other sectors to carry out positive counseling activities, group discussions and other prevention efforts using print and electronic media so as to increase students' knowledge of drug abuse.
