Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of work enthusiasm on organizational commitment at the Public Works Office of Sintang Regency. The population in this research includes all Civil Servants (PNS) at the Public Works Office of the regency, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling with a sample size of 92 individuals. The analysis method used in this study is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the regression equation is Y = 1.463 + 0.657X. The correlation coefficient value obtained is 0.580, indicating a moderate relationship between work enthusiasm and organizational commitment. The coefficient of determination obtained is 0.337, which means that 33.7% of organizational commitment can be influenced by work enthusiasm. The results of the model's feasibility test show that the F value is 45.654 and the F table value is 3.92, so F value > F table (45.654 > 3.92), meaning that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The significance value (sig) is 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. This means that the simple linear regression model can be used to predict the work enthusiasm of PNS employees influenced by organizational commitment.
