Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang di timbulkan akibat perubahan tekanan vakum kondensor pada PLTU PT.ICA Tayan, yang mana selanjutnya akan diketahui seberapa besar nilai tekanan vakum di dalam kondensor yang perlu dijaga nilai vakumnya sehingga didapatkan efisiensi kinerja kondensor yang baik dan mengetahui faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi perubahan tekanan vakum di dalam kondensor. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencari nilai efisiensi kinerja kondensor terhadap perubahan tekanan vakum adalah dengan metode perhitungan perpindahan panas NTU-effectiveness, sehingga didapatkan nilai effectiveness sebagai nilai efisiensi kinerja kondensor. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan didapat nilai efektifitas tertinggi dihasilkan pada tekanan vakum -95 Kpa yaitu 89.05 %. Sedangkan efektivitas terkecil di hasilkan pada tekanan vakum -89 Kpa yaitu 80,330%. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa efektifitas kondensor sangat di pengaruhi oleh tekanan vakum di dalam kondensor itu sendiri yang mana semakin tinggi tekanan vakum di dalam kondensor maka semankin tinggi pula efektivitas yang dihasilkan. -- The purpose of this study was to determine the effect caused by changes in condenser vacuum pressure at the PLTU PT. ICA Tayan which in turn will be known how much the vacuum pressure value in the condenser needs to maintain the vacuum value so that good condenser performance efficiency and knowing anything that can affect changes in vacuum pressure inside the condenser. The method used to find the value of condenser performance efficiency on changes in vacuum pressure is the NTUeffectiveness heat transfer calculation method so that the effective value is obtained as a condenser performance efficiency value. From the calculations that have been done, the highest effectiveness value is obtained at a vacuum pressure of -95 Kpa, which is 89.05%. While the smallest effectiveness was produced at a vacuum pressure of -89 Kpa, which was 80.330%. So that it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the condenser is greatly influenced by the vacuum pressure inside the condenser it self where the higher the vacuum pressure in the condenser, the higher the effectiveness produced.
