Abstract

Background Foodborne Diseases is one of the most common public health problems because it causes food poisoning due to the presence of bacterias on cutlery. Factors that can affect the presence of bacterias such as poor personal hygiene, unclean water condition, and the uncorrect washing process. Based on the preliminary study results, all 5 samples tested by the laboratory (100%) exceed the colony forming unit threshold. Purposes : Find and analyze relationship of personal hygiene, physical water quality, sampling time, dan cup washing technique with number of bacteria on soy milk ice cup in Pontianak City. Method: Analytic observational with cross sectional approach. The research sample was 35 soy milk ice sellers selected using total sampling technique. Results. � � of personal hygiene =−0,209, sign (2-tailed) = 0,228. Pearson ��� of physical water quality =−0,169 with sign (2-tailed) = 0,331. Pearson ��� of sampling time = 0,657 with sign (2-tailed) = 0,000. Pearson ��� of washing technique =−0,184 with sign (2-tailed) = 0,291. Conclusions : There is no relationship between the number of bacterias. There is no relationship between the physical water quality with the number of bacteria. There is a relationship between sampling time and the number of bacteria. There is no relationship between cup washing techniques with number of bacteria.
