Abstract

Background: ISPA incidents in Pontianak Tenggara Health Center have increased and decreased cases since 2018 to 2019 a total of 4,072 cases, with a concentration of PM10 (Particulate Matter) of 472 with dangerous categories. Research Objective: This study aims to find out the trend of exposure to ambient air pollution to ISPA events in the Pontianak Tenggara District Health Center in 2018, and 2019. Research method: The type of research used in this research is descriptive observational research with cross sectional design with ecological study design based on time (time trend analysis) to describe air quality as an independent variable by analyzing the number of air pollutants in PM10 category. As a dependent variable of ISPA events in Pontianak Tenggara Subdistrict. Results: The case of ISPA in Bangka Health Center is greater than the case of ISPA in Puskesmas Paris II in total. In Bangka Health Center from 2018 and Year 2019 increased, so that the number of ISPA cases to 2,275 while in The Paris II Health Center, the number of cases decreased dramatically in 2019 by 589 compared to 2018, so that the number of ISPA cases to 1,797 cases and the total number of ISPA cases as many as 4,072 cases in the Puskesmas District of Southeast Pontianak. While in PM10 there are 8 unhealthy category days, and there is 1 dangerous category day in 2018 in August. Then in 2019 there is an unhealthy category of 12 days in one year, namely in the years in May, July, and September, then in people with ISPA is more easily infected which is caused by PM10.
