Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of working conditions on the motivation of the Civil Service in the National Park Mountain Trench Ketapang. The method used in this research is associative method. The population in this study were all Civil Servants in the National Park Mountain Trench Ketapang with a sample of 51 respondents. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The data analysis is done is a simple linear regression analysis, a simple correlation coefficient, coefficient determination, and test the feasibility of this model. Results of simple linear regression showed Y = -0.060 + 1.020 X, the coefficient is positive, meaning a positive relationship between working conditions and motivation. Results of simple correlation coefficients obtained by the R value of 0.714, this value indicates that the relationship between the variables working conditions have a strong relationship with the variable motivation in the National Park Mountain Trench Ketapang. Results obtained coefficient of determination R² value of 0.510, which means that 51% of employee motivation is influenced by the working conditions, while the remaining 49% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the feasibility of the model obtained F count 51,000 greater than F table 4.04 and has a significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05
