Abstract

The aim of the study to determine the effect of brand image (brand image) against the decision of parents choose the education services in elementary schools Amkur Bengkayang. This type of research is descriptive method. The population in this study throughout the parents, the entire sample of parents whose children are in grade one and grade two school year, 2017, with a sample of Proportional sampling technique. Results of simple linear regression equation Y = 2,406 + 0,600X, if the brand image is 0 (zero), then the decision of parents choose the education services, in an elementary school Amkur Bengkayang worth 2,406. Correlation coefficient of 0.713 means that the brand image variables and decision variables parents have a strong and positive relationship. The coefficient of determination R2 value of 0.509, that 50.90% of brand image is influenced by parents' decisions, while the remaining 49,10% is influenced by other variables. 101.474 F value test results with a significant level of 0,000 is greater than the value of the acquisition of the F table by 3.94 significant level of 0.05, it was concluded that the regression model is used to predict the parents' decisions are influenced by brand image pick-education services at the elementary school Amkur Bengkayang
